Man Stabbed Multiple Times in Road Rage Incident on Upper East Side – NYC

April 24, 2024 MANHATTAN, New York – A vehicle collision stemming from a road rage incident ends in a violent stabbing on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, Tuesday evening, cops said.

According to police, the two male drivers involved initially started their argument in Queens before driving erratically into Manhattan. The two men were reportedly cutting each other’s vehicles off repeatedly before the dramatic scene unfolded around 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The road raging drivers crashed near East 62nd Street and Lexington Avenue, and that’s where police say the driver of a yellow pickup truck allegedly stabbed the driver of a black Mercedes Benz multiple times.

Eyewitness video obtained by FNTV shows the moments of the stabbing incident and arrest. Police were on the scene within minutes to find the Mercedes driver with serious injuries from multiple stab wounds.

The injured man was located with wounds to the face, neck, and leg then rushed by EMS to New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center where he was last listed in stable condition, cops said.

Charges are pending for both drivers as police continue their investigation into the alleged road rage stabbing on the Upper East Side.
