August 23, 2022 | Brooklyn, New York: A man was shot multiple times and left critically injured following gunfire initiated by two perpetrators, authorities said. Just after midnight, officers from the 69th precinct responded to a report of a person shot near Avenue K & E 84th Street in the Canarsie neighborhood of Brooklyn.
Officers found the injured victim with gunshot wounds to the chest, arm and leg. The man was rushed by EMS to an area hospital for further medical treatment.
NYPD Detectives are searching for two suspects who jumped out of a dark colored vehicle and let off several rounds of gunfire that struck a man before making a get away.
At this time there have been no arrests made in connection to the critical shooting and the investigation is ongoing.
