BROOKLYN: 18-Year-Old Deli Worker In Critical Condition Following Gunshot To The Back Of The Head

November 27. 2021 – An 18-year-old male deli worker was shot in the back of the head inside a Brooklyn Deli on Saturday evening, police said.

Detectives are searching for two suspects that fled southbound from the scene.

Just after 6 p.m., NYPD officers responded to a call of a person shot at M&M Deli Grocery on 1854 Nostrand Avenue in Brooklyn, where they encountered the worker with a gunshot wound to the head.

According to police, EMS was rushed to the scene where the victim was initially responsive following injuries sustained in the shooting.

The 18-year-old male victim is also the store owners son and currently remains in critical condition at a local hospital, police said.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
