April 16, 2024 BROOKLYN, New York – A 10-year-old girl was killed after being struck by the driver of an SUV just before 3 p.m., in Brooklyn, police said.
According to police, the young girl was struck as a 62-year-old male SUV driver was making a left hand turn at Wallabout Street near Wallabout Street & Wythe Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
The child was taken to a nearby hospital, but did not survive her injuries and was pronounced deceased.
At this time there is no criminality suspected for the driver who remained on scene of the deadly collision. However charges are pending a full investigation.
