September 24 2021 Queens, New York – At around 11:30pm, police responded to a call of shot spotter activation at around Astoria Houses.
Upon arrival officers at the scene confirmed a male was shot, while canvassing officer also discovered another victim who is suspected to have been shot by the same gunman.
A 31-year-old male victim was found with a gunshot wounds to the face and a 30-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to the groin. Both were discovered in front of 40-05 Astoria Boulevard, according to police.
31-year-old victim was transported to a local hospital and prounced dead, 30-year-old victim is in stable condition at a hospital.
There are no arrests at this time and investigation is ongoing.
