June 14, 2023 MANHATTAN, New York – At least one person was hospitalized with life threatening injuries after a multi-car collision in Harlem, on Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, four people were injured, including two men and two women suffering from various injuries following the collision. One person is reported to be critically injured. The four were rushed to St. Luke’s and Harlem hospitals.
Police from the 28th precinct and FDNY responded to the collision where at least 5 vehicles were involved in a crash. Witnesses said the driver of a black vehicle possibly suffered a medical center emergency while driving however unconfirmed.
The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. on West 119th Street and Lenox Avenue with at least five cars involved and left damaged at the intersection.







We talked with passerby Jerry Williams at the scene who said he saw flames coming from at least one vehicle that caught fire and witnessed first responders along with civilians helping victims at the crash scene.

“I was coming out of the train station and this vehicle that’s right here, I just saw the flames shooting from the vehicle, straight out to Lenox Avenue.”







The investigation into the collision is ongoing and still unknown what caused the accident.
