December 30, 2022 Brooklyn, New York – A teen was shot dead after taking gunfire inside a Brooklyn apartment building Friday evening, police said.
According to NYPD officials, just before 9:00p.m., 70th precinct officers arrived at 2201 Caton Avenue in the Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn and found Darius Roache, 17, critically wounded.
The unresponsive teen with at least one gunshot wound to the back was rushed by EMS to NYC Health and Hospital-Kings County where he was pronounced dead, officials said.
No arrests have been made and the investigation into the deadly shooting is ongoing.
