“The fix is to hire more law enforcement, we need more NYPD, ” Lee Zeldin said before boarding a downtown subway train. “Are we to believe that it’s a sudden coincidence that she woke up Saturday morning and…. called for mandatory forced overtime?”

Zeldin spoke to members of the press on the train ride to the debate.

As he arrived, an awaiting crowd booed, and some clapped in support.

Protesters who held climate signs addressed to Kathy Hochul, chanted “Zeldin is a fascist” as the Republican Congressman walked in.

“RIP 666 Unelected New York Governor Hochul, ” read one protester’s sign as he passed by Hochul supporters, Borough President Mark Levine, and Rep Maloney and shouted, “You Suck! You Suck!”

It does not appear that Governor Kathy Hochul walked through the front entrance.
