August 20 2022 MANHATTAN, New York – Three shootings occured in Harlem part of Manhattan, within a span of approximately 30 minutes, one of the victims is left in life threatening condition.
Around 2:57am, on 102nd street and 1st Avenue in Harlem, Manhattan, police responded to shots fired, finding multiple shell casings at the scene. Police requested a hospital canvas, looking for a potential victim. Police say one victim was found at a local hospital and two suspects fled.
Shortly after 3am, at 145 Edgecombe Avenue police responded to shots fired in the area, finding one shooting victim. Police say a man was shot twice in his chest and is in life threatening condition.
911 call occured about 15 minutes later, near Harlem River, reporting a man shot. Police responded to Frederick Douglas Boulvard, later corrected to 2999 8th Avenue in Harlem part of Manhattan. Police arrived to investigate, finding a victim on the scene.
