One Person is Dead after Three People were Stabbed in Sunset Park Brooklyn

August 20, 2022 | Brooklyn, New York: NYPD Detectives in Brooklyn are investigating a violent armed assault and robbery where three men were stabbed early Saturday morning by a pair of crooks. The violent attack has left one man dead and two others critical with life threatening injuries. The multiple stabbing occurred near the intersection of 44th St & 7th Ave in Sunset Park Brooklyn.

Police from the 72 precinct initially responded to a 911 call of a person stabbed at the location and on their arrival located a group of male victims with various injuries. Officers found a 31-year old male with multiple stab wounds to his chest and shoulder. The wounded man was rushed by EMS to Maimonides Hospital, where he did not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead a short time later, cops said.

According to NYPD officials, two additional victims on scene were located, a 26-year-old male that was stabbed in his face and a 33-year-old male with stab wounds to the stomach. These two men were also transported to Maimonides Hospital, and are listed in stable condition.

Two male suspects fled the scene before police arrived and there are no arrest at this time. The investigation into the deadly stabbing remains ongoing.
