July 3 2022 – BRONX, New York: A driver in a stolen car, who was traveling with a baby crashed into a cyclist early Sunday afternoon. The driver, a female, then took another car to flee the scene with the baby who was in a car seat, cops say.
The victim was taken to a local hospital by first responders and pronounced DOA, according to officials. NYPD Highway CIS was requested to the scene to investigate.
The incident occurred just before at E 172nd St and Metcalf Avenue in Soundview part of the Bronx.
Incident occured early afternoon on Sunday.
