May 24, 2022 | MANHATTAN, NY: At approximately 1:08pm Multiple vehicles, including a Revel Tesla, UPS Delivery Box Truck and a double-decker tour bus, were involved in a crash in midtown Manhattan on Tuesday afternoon. The ride share vehicle was traveling at an apparent high rate of speed when it struck the delivery vehicle. The UPS delivery truck found its way onto the sidewalk in front of Old Navy following impact from the collision.
Both companies involved, Reveal & UPS said in separate statements they were aware of the incident in midtown Manhattan and cooperating with authorities investigating a he incident as reported by NBC4.
According to Revel, there was no passenger inside the Revel Tesla rideshare vehicle. At least one person was taken to an area hospital as a result of the crash.
