December 29th, 2021 – On Wednesday afternoon just after 1:00 p.m. a shooting occurred in Newark, New Jersey where a child was shot, police said.
Officers from Newark’s 2nd Precinct responded to 259 Broadway where the shooting was reported and upon arrival located an injured child.
According to CBSNewYork, Newark Public Safety Director Brian O’Hara said Newark Police officers responded to the 200 block of Broadway at around 1:15 p.m. today for a call of an injured child male who was taken to University Hospital and listed in a stable condition.
