Two Shot, One Dead in Manhattan in Broad Daylight

August 23 2021 – NEW YORK, NY: Two men were shot, One killed in an autobody shop at 325 East 95th St. in Upper East Side in broad daylight this afternoon. According to the NYPD, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress at 324 East 95 Street. Upon arrival, officers encountered a 33-year-old male with gunshot wounds to his head and shoulder and a 43-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the back. EMS also responded to the scene and transported both victims to NY Presbyterian Hospital where the 33-year-old male was pronounced deceased, according to authorities.



The 43-year-old male was listed as being in stable condition and the preliminary investigation determined that both victims were shot by an unidentified male who fled the scene inside of a blue Sport Utility Vehicle, said police.

The investigation is ongoing. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
