July 26th, Portland, Oregon – Shots fired at the Portland protest zone. According to witnesses, eight or nine “juveniles” were in an altercation with a man. Man fired at least one shot.
Police press release: July 26, 2020 at about 7:24 p.m. Portland Police responded to a report of a shot fired near SW 4th Avenue and SW Salmon Street.
Portland Police have taken two people into custody related to the incident near SW 4th Avenue and SW Salmon Street. As police were securing the scene a person arrived at a hospital by private vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound, non-life threatening. That person seems to have been associated with the incident near SW 4th Avenue and SW Salmon Street. Portland Police are still investigating.
