Just before 10pm Sunday night, nearby police reportedly heard gunshots and responded to the area immediately to find the teen boy shot on a sidewalk outside Harlem Hospital, near the W 135th Subway Station in Central Harlem NYC.

The 15-year-old was found with a gunshot wound to the chest and was rushed to Harlem Hospital for further treatment, where the boy is currently listed in stable condition, police said.

A hand gun was recovered at the scene, found under a parked car near by. When the owner of the vehicle arrived, he was stunned to hear his car was now part of a crime scene investigation.
