High End Jewelry Heist in Midtown NYC

October 15, 2022 – Manhattan, New York: A high end jewelry store was the scene of a heist in Midtown Manhattan early Saturday. The brazen robbery unfolded just after 330am this morning at Cellini Jewelers on Park Avenue & 56th Street in Manhattan, NYC.

According to police, a group of thieves made their way into the store after shattering a front glass door. Information on the exact items stolen is unknown at this time however the store is known to carry rare pieces of fine jewelry.

Detectives are searching for at least three individuals wanted for burglary after using a sledgehammer to smash their way into Cellini Jewelers at 430 Park Avenue in midtown and made out with several high end jewelry pieces with an estimated value over $500,000.

Police officials say the burglary suspects fled the location on foot to an awaiting silver colored sedan. At this time there and no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
