“Jury Trial is Going To Be a Distraction” – Cardi B Pleads Guilty at NYC Court

September 15, 2022 | Queens, New York: Cardi B plead guilty Thursday afternoon in a Queens criminal court on two charges from a 2018 incident including, assault in the third-degree and reckless endangerment. The charges are in connection with a brawl that occurred in Queens strip club and Cardi was sentenced to 15 days community service, officials said.

“She felt that a 3 week jury trial is going to be a distraction”

Two full orders of protection for three-years were also issued for the two strip club employees who allegedly had glass bottles hurled at them. Belcalis Almanzar better known as Cardi B and two co-defendants, Tawana Jackson-Morel and Jeffrey Bush were at Angels Strip Club in Queens when they allegedly hurled chairs, and glass bottles at a bartender and another employee who were both injured during the verbal altercation turned physical.

“She felt that a 3 week jury trial is going to be a distraction” from Cardi B family and community, her Attorney says following hearing over strip club brawl, they agreed with prosecutors on “Conditional discharge with two misdemeanors as soon as she does this community service” said Drew Findling, Cardi B’s Attorney

A judge sentenced Cardi to 15 days of community service after she was accused of coordinating attacks on the two strip club employees, one of which was allegedly accused of sleeping with Cardi’s husband “Offset” of the Atlanta rap group The Migos, according to the Queens district attorney’s office.
