One Person Dead after Fire Engulfs New Jersey Homes

December 4 2021 Paterson, New Jersey – One person was killed in a house fire in Paterson, New Jersey on Friday evening, following a fire that also damaged neighboring homes.



Flames were were seen through the roof of a two-story home on Lafayette Street just after 11 p.m.

The fire started at the two-story home at 103 Lafayette Street, then spread to houses on both sides of it.

Officials confirmed that one person died in the blaze. The victim’s body was found on the second floor of the home.

The adjacent houses on Lafayette, both sustained damage and 13 people have been displaced, according to local Fire department.

Later in the night, on December 4 2021 Manhattan, New York – Police were searching for the gunman after two people were shot on a subway train platform in Harlem, Manhattan. NYPD is investigating an incident that occurred early Saturday morning around 12:30 a.m., when two men standing on the subway platform in Harlem’s 125th street station, were both shot.
