On Sunday, April 18, 2021 at approximately 10pm, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot at the corner of 41 Street and 30 Avenue, in Astoria, Queens.
Upon arrival, officers say they observed a 22-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the back, sitting in the driver’s seat of a late model of white Range Rover.
EMS transported the victim to Mount Sinai Hospital- Queens, where he was pronounced dead.
There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
The identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.
