September 18 2023 STATEN ISLAND, New York – Ukrainian President Zelensky visits Staten Island, New York where wounded Ukranian soldiers are currently homed in the Rehabilitation Medicine Unit of Northwell’s Staten Island University Hospital.
Northwell CEO Michael Dowling welcomes President Zelensky who toured the hospital and greeted the staff and patients.
“I will attend the General Assembly, SDG Summit, and Security Council meetings at the UN, as well as a number of important bilateral talks.
Ukraine will put out a concrete proposal to UN member states on how to fortify the principle of territorial integrity and improve the UN’s capacity to thwart and halt aggression.” Zelensky posted on his X (formerly known as Twitter) page.
