45-Year-Old Man Stabbed to Death in Bronx Apartment, During Dispute with Neighbor

January 07, 2022 Bronx, New York – A man was found fatally stabbed in his Bronx apartment building on Friday evening, cops said.

Just before 9pm, police responded to 1212 University Avenue after 911 calls of a person stabbed in a 3rd floor apartment. Officers located an unresponsive 45-year-old male with multiple stab wounds to the chest who was transported by EMS to an area hospital and was pronounced dead, police say.

According to police, the deadly encounter allegedly stemmed from a verbal dispute between neighbors that turned violent.

A 39-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds to the body was also located at the scene. Officials say the wounded female is stable condition at a local Hospital with non life threatening injuries at this time.

A person of interest has been taken into police custody with charges pending. The investigation into the deadly stabbing remains ongoing.
