14-Year-Old Boy Killed in the Bronx Shooting

August 11 2022 BRONX, New York – A 14-year-old has died in a shooting early Thursday morning, in Fordham part of the Bronx.

Shortly after 1a.m, police arrived at East 194 Street and Briggs Avenue, and discovered a teenage victim, Jacob Borbin, with a gunshot wound to his chest, according to officials.

Teen was rushed to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police say that a preliminary investigation shows that the boy was shot inside the lobby of 237 East 194 Street.

There are no arrests at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
