Firefighter and Civilian Injured in Heavy Queens Fire

January 10, 2021 Queen, NY – This morning units responded to a seven story multiple dwelling for reports of heavy fire in the rear of the building at 34-15 Parsons Blvd

Occupants were removed with minor injuries were reported. One minor injury to a civilian and one minor injury to a firefighter, said FDNY Officials.

Upon arrival firefighters observed heavy fire and smoke. They knocked it down, no extension needed. The second alarm was transmitted shortly thereafter. And

According to FDNY Battalion Chief on scene, he said at this time, the extent of injuries to the firefighter and civilian appear to be minor in nature.
