December 18, 2021 – A 30-year-old man was fatally shot following a dispute in a Brooklyn apartment just after 12:15 a.m. early Saturday morning, police said.
According to police, The 30-year-old male was visiting his daughters mother when the females estranged lover allegedly broke into her residence through a front apartment window on 83rd Street at 14th Avenue in the Bensonhurst neighborhood of Brooklyn.
The 30-year-old man and the estranged lover struggled inside of the Brooklyn apartment before several shots rang out. The 30-year-old was struck in the head and killed at the scene, said police
Following several frantic 911 phone calls, NYPD officers arrived at the residence in time to apprehend the armed assailant.
The incident was met with a massive police response and the ex boyfriend was taken into police custody.
