June 2 2021 – MANHATTAN, New York: Outside of ABC Studios in Manhattan, crowds gathered in the street to cheer for the NYC mayoral candidates ahead of the first live, in-person debate.
The celebration turned into a block party, at several points the supporters of the various candidates blocked streets cheering and dancing holding signs for their candidates.
Several of the candidates came out and spoke to the crowd before entering the building.
