Man Steals a Delivery Van, Dragging Two Owners and Crashing it in Times Square

March 20 2021 Manhattan, New York – At around 5:30 am a man attempted to steal a delivery van when he crashed into a scaffolding in Times Square.

According to witnesses, the suspect was emotionally disturbed, when he jumped into a van and reversed down w45 and 7th Ave crashing into the scaffolding. Witnesses also stated that the two victims owners of the truck, a father and a son , attempted to stop the suspect and where dragged with the vehicle.

Ems responded and treated the both victims, transporting them to nearby hospitals in unknown condition.

Around the same time a 10-13 call was transmitted for MS 17 pct where they were in a foot pursuit and apprehended a suspect on west 45 and 6 Ave. It is unknown if the two incidents are related.
