August 26, 2023 – MODESTO, California: About 12 people attended Modesto Straight Pride Event this morning, 2 of them Neo-Nazis with Swastika and Hitler t-shirts.
Protesters and counter protesters gathered in Modesto, California where Central Valley Proud Boys and adjacent groups called for “Straight Pride” rally on August 26th. No proud boys were present. “Let’s show antifa scum who owns the city” the flier read saying it’s a march to reclaim the city, signed “Proudly brought to you by the Western Chauvinist.”
Two male counter protesters started making out as Neo-Nazi Group threw roman salutes and shouted about “Future for White Children”.
“We don’t hate ALL Jews,” send one of the Straight Pride attendees when I asked if they are with the Neo-Nazis, he would not respond wether he was with them, instead appeared to try justifying their message. Another attendee in red shirt shook hands with the Neo-Nazi Group GLD, a passing by car through a drink at him later on.
Another attendee said “We are about love, I wish they weren’t here.”
