55-Year-Old Stabbed to Death Aboard MTA Bus in the Bronx

October 9 2022 BRONX, New York – A 55-year-old man was stabbed after an alleged fight aboard an MTA bus in the Bronx on Sunday evening.

Police say a man was left in critical condition after getting stabbed multiple times on an MTA Bus near E 149th St & Gerard Ave in the Bronx. NYPD Detectives are searching for at least two suspects that fled the scene.

Witnesses stated that an argument started among the people, resulting in victim getting stabbed.

Upon arrival police officers say they located the wounded victim and police are searching for at least two suspects that fled the scene.

Victim was transported to Lincoln hospital where he died from injuries , according to sources.

Police say the victim was allegedly involved in a dispute with a female and a male on the bus, when the attackers stabbed the victim. Both individuals then fled the location, on foot, prior to arrival of police. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
