9/11 Memorial and Tribute Lights go on Amid Pandemic on 19th Anniversary of the Attacks

September 11 2020 – MANHATTAN, New York: On the 19th anniversary of the attacks that took down the World Trade Center, hundreds gathered around the memorial to pay respects, lay flowers and wreaths, and to see the Tribute in Lights, which shone above lower Manhattan despite being canceled earlier this Summer.

Santizing stations were set up around the area and people were reminded to wear their masks.
