Construction Worker Seriously Injured after Floor Collapse at the Museum

MANHATTAN – A construction worker was seriously injured and needed to be rescued by FDNY crews after a witness says a floor collapsed inside the under-renovation National Academy of Design Museum on Fifth Avenue bear East 88th st. Officials say the accident happened just before 8 am. The victim was transported to NYP-Cornell in serious but non-life threatening condition. The department of buildings was on scene, we are awaiting comment.
