February 28, 2024 MANHATTAN, New York – A migrant was stabbed multiple times in the stomach and back allegedly by another migrant during a physical altercation at a New York City shelter.
The 24-year-old male victim was rushed by EMS to Mt. Sinai Hospital in stable condition. A person of interest was taken into custody, with charges pending full investigation, cops said.
According to police, the attack was reported just before noon at 31 Central Park North, in the former Lincoln Correctional Center, across the street from Central Park Harlem Meer in Manhattan.
