“NYC Police Officers are not going to be punching bags” – Migrants Charged in Times Square Attack on Cop In Custody After Bail Set by Judge

February 16 2024 MANHATTAN, New York – Wilson Juarez, Kelvin Servita Arocha, Yohenry Brito, Yorman Reveron and Darwin Andres Gomez-Izquiel were arraigned Friday morning on the indictment for Times Square Cop attack.

One of the suspects arrived with a crowd of protesters who gathered to defend him, he was released on bail earlier, bail provided by a church in Brooklyn, according to the NYPOST.

All defendants had bail amounts imposed of 15-100,000 and were remanded into custody. The PBA president said during a press conference that this should have happened when they had their first court appearance.

Yohenry Brito was expected to be sent to detention and held by ICE, however the court said they will hold him and coordinate with ICE instead.
