QUEENS: Arson fire sparked by Molotov cocktail in alleged drug deal gone bad

Queens apartment fire was sparked by an alleged arsonist with Molotov cocktail in drug deal gone bad, according to 1010wins and the Daily news.

2-Alarm Fire broke out at a seven story multiple dwelling, with a heavy fire in the rear of the building at 34-15 Parsons Blvd in Flushing part of Queens.

Occupants were removed with minor injuries were reported. One minor injury to a civilian and one minor injury to a firefighter, said FDNY Officials.



Upon arrival firefighters observed heavy smoke. They knocked it down, no extension needed. The second alarm was transmitted shortly thereafter.



According to FDNY Battalion Chief on scene, he said at this time, the extent of injuries to the firefighter and civilian appear to be minor in nature.
