November 14, 2023 STATEN ISLAND, New York – Pro Palestine protesters marched to the Staten Island Ferry. After marching and shutting down the Staten Island Ferry, demonstrators riddled a city MTA with Palestine flag stickers.
Police rushed in took down some demonstrators as they were using red paint to stamp their hand prints on the windows and windshield of the City MTA bus. At least one person was taken into custody.
Clashes with police ensued as protesters chanted “shame on you” and barricades were shoved by both protesters and police.
