Patient Dies During ‘Medical Episode’ as His Ambulance T-boned by Dodge in Midtown

October 22 2023 MANHATTAN, New York – patient who was inside an ambulance for “medical episode” has died following a crash between an ambulance and another car in Midtown early Sunday morning.

Police say the ambulance was driving on 10th Avenue and 42nd Street at around 4:30am, when it was t-boned by a Dodge.

The patient inside the ambulance was having a “medical episode”, he was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai West, where he was driven to by another ambulance.

Two EMTS and the driver of the Dodge sustained injuries, all minor.
