October 13 2023 NEW YORK, New York – Councilwoman Inna Vernikov was arrested this morning after a picture appeared showing her allegedly armed with a hand gun while standing near Pro-Palestine protest outside Brooklyn CUNY College.
Councilwoman Inna Vernikov turned herself into NYPD’s 70th Precinct this morning and was charged with criminal possession of a firearm. The NYPD spokesperson said it was a licensed firearm, a black Smith & Wesson 9 mm.
Dozens of Pro-Palestine demonstrators and a few dozen of Pro-Israel counter protesters faced off outside of NYC CUNY Brooklyn College this afternoon.
Pro-Palestine demonstrations were called across multple CUNY colleges locations event denounced by some politicians as “pro-hamas” rally.


“There will be consequences for such filthy actions and that is what the Palestinian resistance said, enough is enough. After 75 years of colonialism, on October 7th, the Palestinian resistance announced the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation” – rally at CUNY Brooklyn College
“The least we can do today, is come out here today and stand with our Palestinian resistance, who are our heroes” – Protester spoke outside CUNY Brooklyn College at Pro-Palestine rally – “AllahuAkbar!” shouted the crowd in response.
Later in the day, hundreds of Pro-Palestine demonstrators and a few dozen of Pro-Israel counter protesters in dueling protests outside of UES Hunter College mear E 68th street in NYC this afternoon.
Columbia University also saw hundreds of people rallying on campus in support of Palestine.
October 9 2023 MANHATTAN, New York – Hundreds of Palestine supporters marched through NYC Streets, gathering outside Israel Embassy and then the United Nations.
Multple groups ripped up Israel Flag as they taunted a few hundred Israel supporters counter-protesting across the street.
Groups chanted and waved Palestinian flag, Hamas Flag, USSR and China Republic flag.




Later in the day, Hundreds Gathered outside NYC Temple Emanu-El to Mourn Lives Lost from Hamas Attack in Israel.
People gathered for a vigil on 65th and 5th Ave at 6pm.
Thousands of Brooklyn Jews gathered in prayer at Chabat-Lubavitch for vigil for Jewish victims of attack by Hamas in Israel around 7pm that Monday night.
