August 20 2023 BROOKLYN, New York – Two heavy fires broke out in two Brownsville and Williamsburg within half hour of each other, leaving three children injured among victims.
Brownsville fire broke out around 11 a.m. on the 11th floor of a 14-story Livonia Avenue building, where firefighters respected a 4-Year-Old, 5-year-old and an 8-year-old, who they found alone and unconscious inside the home.
Police say three children are in life threatening condition after their parents allegedly left them unsupervised at Livonia street home in Brooklyn that cought fire. Father was taken into custody, police said.
Seperate heavy 5-Alarm fire broke out around noon at Lee Avenue and Hooper Street in Williamsburg, leaving heavy damage after the blaze. Fire Department said that 9 firefighters and an EMS Responder were injured.
