August 11, 2023 MANHATTAN, New York – Late Friday evening, a man was shot dead outside a liquor store in West Harlem. EMS rushed the victim to Harlem Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, cops say.
Eyewitness Michael Thomas said he was sitting outside of the liquor store when two females and the 29-year-old male victim started to argue. Thomas said that’s when he heard a loud bang and the male was shot in the chest.

The eyewitness went on to say that the two females then ran away towards Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd and St. Nicholas Avenue. Police officials say a male shot the 29-year-old victim in the chest and then fled the scene. Detectives are searching for the gunman.








According to police, the victim was shot in the chest just before 11:30 p.m. in front of 303 West 128th Street.
The investigation into the fatal shooting is ongoing as there are no reported arrests.
