NYPD Investigating the Violent Stabbing Death of a 28-year-old Dancer at NYC Gas Station as a Hate Crime .

A 28-year-old dancer, O’Shae Sibley, was stabbed to death at a Brooklyn gas station on Saturday evening, after an altercation between two groups after someone objected to the way Sibley was dancing. According to witnesses, victim played a song from Beyoncé’s latest album, Renaissance, and danced to the music, vogueing, a style of popularized by the LGBTQ scene.

The NYPD is reportedly investigating the incident as a hate crime and has identified.

On July 29 2023 BROOKLYN, New York – A fight broke out on a Saturday night around 11:15 at a Mobil gas station on Coney Island Avenue, ending in one person fatally stabbed.

Victim was with his friends at the gas station, when a another person held the door, stepped outside, and exchanged words with the group.

“This guy walked from the store, he’s like ‘why are you dancing, I’m Muslim,'” said one witness.

Both groups started arguing with each other, eventually cooling off and leaving two people with phones continuing the confrontation.

Shortly later another clash among the group broke out and 17-year-old suspect then stabbed the 28-year-old victim.

The victim was rushed to a hospital where he died from his injuries.
