First Responder Stabbed by a Patient outside Upper West Side Hospital – MANHATTAN

July 19 2023 MANHATTAN, New York – A female EMT first responder was stabbed by her patient right outside of Mount Sinai Hospital on the Upper West Side, according to police.

Victim, the EMT worker, was stabbed in the arms and legs by a patient described as “emotionally disturbed” according to officials. Victim was treated at the hospital and is currently in stable condition, according to police.

The suspect is in custody.
