Body Pulled Out from Central Park’s Harlem Meer

July 9 2023 MANHATTAN, New York – A man’s body was found floating in Central Park’s Harlem Meer on Sunday afternoon.

First responders arrived to the meer around 3:15pm and pulled the body out from a Central Park lake in Manhattan, police said.

The man’s body was seen floating in the Meer near 110th Street and 5th Avenue, a passerby called 911 to report it.

Investigation is ongoing, and the medical examiner’s office will determine the cause of death.
