July 05, 2023 BRONX, New York – Holiday celebrations end in tragedy. One teen was killed and another person wounded in a Bronx double shooting early Wednesday.
A massive NYPD response to 911 calls of shots fired with injuries at around 2:30am. Officers mobilized and located two people struck by gunfire near E 181st St & Morris Ave in the Fordham Heights section of the Bronx.
The critical 18-year-old teen victim who was struck by gunfire was pronounced dead at an area hospital. The age of second victim has yet to be released however police say they are expected to survive.








New York City Mayor Eric Adams was with detectives in the Bronx evaluating the scene where at least one person was killed.
According to police, two persons of interest are in custody with charges pending. Police investigation is ongoing.
