June 27 2023 BRONX, New York – Two men are dead and another man is injured after a shooting in the Longwood neighborhood of the Bronx on Tuesday afternoon.
Police say shooting happened on the 900 block of Rev. James A. Polite Avenue around 12:30 p.m., on the fifth floor of an apartment building.
A 28-year-old man and a 32-year-old man were found dead at the scene with gunshot wounds to their head, one of them was found outside of the apartment with a gun, police said.
A 56-year-old man suffered a graze wound to his neck, police confirmed.
Police are investigating whether the one of the men accidentally shot himself after killing his roommate in the apartment, sources said.
