June 11, 2023 Newark, New Jersey – Love triangle leaves two men dead and woman injured on Saturday evening in Newark, police said.
According to Essex County officials, on Saturday June 10 at around 11:30 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting at 140 Shephard Street in Newark, New Jersey and located two men shot.
Upon police arrival at the home on Shephard Street, officers say they found Isaiah Cobb, 33, with multiple gunshot wounds and laying in roadway. Cobb was pronounced dead at the scene and is alleged to may have been romantically involved with an injured woman at the home.
A 51-year-old Terrance Carroll was also found at the scene with an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Carroll was rushed to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead, cops say.
The injured 31-year-old female victim involved is reportedly the wife of Carroll and was transported to an area hospital for further evaluation after being assaulted.








Officials say that Mr. Carroll allegedly got into an altercation outside his home with Cobb and where he assaulted his wife. Carroll is then said to have fatally shot Cobb before shooting himself.
