Suspect ARRESTED After Woman’s Head SHOVED Into UES Moving Train

May 23 2023 MANHATTAN, New York – A 39-year-old Kamal Samrade was arrested and charged after allegedly slamming woman’s head into moving subway train on Upper East Side Lexington /63rd street station.

Police say Samrade is charged with attempted murder and assault.

Victim is in critical condition, needing spinal surgery.

On May 21 Cops were searching for suspect after he pushed a woman’s head into a moving subway train on Lexington Avenue 63rd street station.

Police say a woman was walking on the southbound platform at the Lexington Avenue/63 Street Station when a man she did not know approached her from behind and slammed her head into the departing ‘E’ train.

The victim was rushed by EMS to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

A 35-year-old woman is in critical condition, treated for lacerations to the head and spinal injuries, according to officials.
