Concerned Neighborhood Residents Karen & Juan

“They’ve been searching that river for the past two days, till they finally found them. It’s sad things happen that way, you don’t know if it happened because they were playing or they met something foul out there (you know what I’m saying?) you don’t know. Especially when it’s just two kids with no adult supervision, or nothing like that. Not to blame the children’s parents or nothing like that” said Juan when we spoke with him on Madison Ave Bridge.

Police officials notified the family of the tragic discovery and identified the body that of 13-year-old, Garrett Wilson. The NYPD continues to search the area for the second missing boy as the investigation is ongoing.
