May 17, 2023 MANHATTAN, New York – Taco night turns deadly after gunfire erupts outside popular “Taco Mix” restaurant in East Harlem, Manhattan.
According to NYPD, a 26-year-old male was shot in the chest during an altercation with a unknown perpetrator outside of a popular late night eatery on E 116th between 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue in Harlem, NYC
The male victim was rushed to Harlem Hospital with critical injuries and pronounced dead, cops say.
Detectives were seen canvassing for ballistic evidence as officers searched the area for a lone gunman who fled the scene following the deadly altercation.
No reported arrests at this time and the investigation into the fatal shooting is ongoing.
