One Year Old Boy Dies in Queens Fire

May 15 2023 QUEENS, New York – A 1-year-old infant boy passed away aftwe injuries sustained in a heavy fire at a Queens home Sunday evening.

Heavy flames broke out in the single-family home on 106th Avenue in Jamaica neighborhood of Queens, at around 11 p.m., police said.

Police say the baby was found on the second floor of the house. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Incident is under investigation, it is not immidiately clear who else was at the residence during the fire.
