CHAOS: Protesters JUMP ON SUBWAY TRACKS on NYC Station, Stop Subway Train, MULTIPLE ARRESTS for Jordan Neely

May 6 2023 MANHATTAN, New York – after hundreds marched through NYC demanding justice for Jordan Neely, protesters descended onto 63rd street subway station and physically occupied the train tracks, stopping approaching MTA train.

Scuffles and shoving broke out as police tried removing the protesters from the platform, multiple people were arrested.

Earlier in the day, hundreds of people marched from Broadway-Lafayette subway station and through NYC Streets for three hours, chanting and demanding justice.

May 5 2023 MANHATTAN, New York – Protests continue across New York City as former marine, who put Jordan Neely in a chokehold, killing him, is Identified as Daniel Penny.

On Thursday night, hundreds of people, many of whom are notable BLM activists, took to the streets, they voiced that they were outraged that the white ex-marine who strangled Jordan Neely was let go, no charges were filed, and that his name was not released to the public.

Group gathered outside Barclay’s Center and marched across the Manhattan Bridge to demand accountability.

“He told you he was ready to die, and you killed him!” – Protesters gathered in Lower Manhattan to call on DA Bragg to indict Daniel Penny, who was named as former marine that choked Jordan Neely to death on NYC subway.

May 3 2023 MANHATTAN, New York – Clashes with NYPD as protest was held for Jordan Neely, a black homeless man who was choked and killed by a subway straphanger in NYC.

A 30-year-old man, Jordan Neely, was acting erratically according to police and witnesses, while riding on the New York City subway. Neely was placed in a choke hold, from his back, by another passenger and died on a train in NoHo, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed.

Jordan Neely, was found on a northbound F train at the Broadway-Lafayette station when around 2:30 p.m. Monday, police said.

The 24-year-old subway rider who held Neely in a fatal choke hold, was questioned by detectives and released.

Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s office has opened an investigation into the death of Jordan Neely.

This Wednesday, medical examiner’s office announced that 30-year-old Jordan Neely died from “compression of neck” and determined the manner of death to be homicide.
